~Ramadan is Coming Soon..~ [RF.4]

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..
Alhamdulillah, we are now in 17th Syaa'ban.
Near to Ramadan, a month that most of muslim waiting for.
Why?
Because it is a month that we can focus on our job as a slave of Allah. (Beribadah)
So, in my opinion to our ibadah smooth in Ramadan, we should get ready in many aspect.
Furthermore, live in Egypt we have to face Summer and more than 12 hours fasting.

In this sharing, I would like to note you some tips in diet during Ramadan.
The main point is : "We should take more Potassium than Sodium during Ramadan."

Sahour food:
Chicken breastOatmealBrown rice, wholemeal breadBananasRaw, dark HoneyRaisins or DATES (of course, its sunnah)Fibrous vegetables –This will help increase the feeling of fullness as well.Olive oil – preferably extra virgin (which means it’s cold processed and the essential fatty acids are preserved)Plenty of water

# It is very important to watch your sodium intake at this time as high sodium can cause greater dehydration plus increase thirst during the day – not good for fasters. Avoid high sodium foods like soups, sauces, condiments, gravies, high sodium bread products, and canned meats. Of course eating fried foods and heavy oil items can cause heartburn and problems for you all day so it is best to avoid those if possible! (source 1)

Iftar food :

datesfruit juicessoup and porridgemilk and dairy productsfruits and nutssaladchicken/ fish - steamed, boiled, grilled, roastedgreen veggies or mix vegetables1 cup brown rice

#For Iftar, having foods high in carbohydrates can compensate for the reduced glucose levels experienced as a result of fasting.

#Do not indulge in an unbalanced diet with too many servings of sherbets and sweets with added sugar as it is very unhealthy. (source 2)

Train you jasad and roh..
